HiRaDophilus® is a patented, science-driven probiotic concept composed of three well-characterized autochthonous strains originating from the Balkan region: Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus helveticus, and Streptococcus thermophilus.
These strains form part of the natural microbial ecosystem of South East Europe and have adapted over centuries to regional dietary habits and environmental conditions. The Balkan region, historically a melting point of European cultures, has also shaped a distinct and diverse microbial footprint, which is reflected in the functional properties of these strains.
Autochthonous strains demonstrate high relevance for targeted probiotic applications due to their strong adhesion capacity, robust colonization potential, and ability to support intestinal barrier integrity.
