We’re pleased to unveil an interview with Dr. Bojan Pavlović, Executive Director of Phytonet d.o.o., featured in Cord magazine. In the interview, Dr. Pavlović highlights the successful expansion of Swiss company Phytonet AG into Serbia, where a new division has been established to develop and manufacture final pharmaceutical forms. This strategic move has proven highly advantageous for the company. Our Serbian division focused on these pharmaceutical forms, works seamlessly with our division dedicated to cutting-edge health solutions. Together, these two divisions represent a unified approach to advancing global health innovation and underscore our commitment to “Two Divisions, One Vision.”
Dr. Bojan Pavlović highlights the importance of a strong scientific foundation for creating groundbreaking health products. Our Serbian team, which includes nearly 60 professionals—ten of whom are pharmacists and technologists—is leading this initiative. They are utilizing Serbia’s exceptional scientific resources to develop products that are poised for the global market.
Phytonet AG, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, has always been dedicated to improving human health. We began by focusing on major European markets and have since expanded to the Near and Far East. We represent top manufacturers of innovative active ingredients used in nutraceuticals. These “smart ingredients,” known for their clinical efficacy, patents, or approved health claims, are distributed globally through our extensive network. In addition to our new Serbian division, we have offices in Istanbul, Singapore, Manila, Seoul, and a partner company in Japan.
We are particularly proud of our collaboration with Serbia’s Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering (IMGGI). This partnership has led to significant projects, including the development of the first Balkan probiotic from indigenous bacterial strains and a treatment for Candida fungus in the oral cavity. These efforts underscore our commitment to leveraging local expertise and enhancing Serbia’s global scientific competitiveness.
Looking forward, Phytonet AG will host a major international conference on September 19th. This event will bring together leading companies and scientific institutes from around the world to showcase new “smart ingredients” and continue our push to integrate innovative solutions into the global market.
